Sponsorship · The Final Countdown · Asheville, NC

Put your name
on the clock.

Forty days. Forty nights. Forty-eight billboards in Billy Graham country, a storefront on Haywood Road, a documentary crew, and a proposed final night at The Orange Peel. We are looking for a small number of brands willing to be visible while hemp's legal status is being decided.

Proposal status · read this first

December 11, 2026 is a proposed target date. No venue hold is signed, no artist is booked, and every name and logo shown here is a pitch illustration — not an endorsement or a confirmed appearance. This site exists so sponsors, artists, venues and press can see the whole idea in one place and tell us whether they want in. Nothing here should be reported as booked.

What you get
The surfaces

Six places your name
actually shows up.

This is not a logo on a footer. Every tier below maps to physical, dated, photographable placements — and to a campaign that is arguing for a plant a lot of brands depend on.

48 billboards

Canton and greater Asheville, lead-up plus all forty days. Sponsor logos sit in a fixed band on every board.

40 nights

Live programming on Haywood Road — music, live painting, education, conversation. Named nights available.

The documentary

The whole forty days is being filmed. Sponsors appear in the on-screen title cards and end credits.

The tract

A printed eight-page tract handed out nightly and downloadable from the site. Back-page sponsor panel.

Press + livestream

A lift-ready press release, press kit, and a proposed livestream of the final night.

The final night

DAY ZERO at The Orange Peel — a 1,050-cap benefit room, if the date and the artists come together.

The lineup we're building

Sponsors we're going after.

These are the brands we want on this wall. From some we need cash. From some we need product. From some we need their name, their audience, or their connections. Every one of them brings something the campaign can't buy — and nothing below is confirmed until it's signed. If your brand belongs here, the form at the bottom of this page is how you get on it.

The tiers

Levels, and what each one requires.

Every level below lists how many spots exist, exactly what you receive, and exactly what we need from you to deliver it. Reach out through the form and we will walk you through the numbers for the level that fits.

Requirements

The rules, stated once.

These apply to every level, from in-kind trade to presenting sponsor.

Who can sponsor

Brands, farms, shops, venues, labels and companies of any size. Products sold must be legal where they are sold, and anything intoxicating is adults only, 21+.

What we need on paper

A one-page agreement, a billing contact, vector logo files, and approval on your placement before anything goes public.

Timing

Print deadlines close October 15. Billboard cycles need three weeks of lead time. Nightly programming is claimed first come, first served.

Compliance

You are responsible for your own product claims, labeling and any sampling permits. No medical claims, no youth-facing creative, no on-site consumption where it is not permitted.

What sponsorship does not buy

Sponsors do not choose speakers, artists, film content or editorial. The programming stays independent, and every sponsor is disclosed by name.

Charitable giving is separate

Sponsorship is a marketing agreement with Spiritual Plants, not a donation. Gifts to the Hollow Bone Initiative are handled separately on the donate page.

The exchange

What we want from you
besides money.

Nerve

We are not asking you to sponsor a music festival. We are asking you to be named on a campaign about whether this plant stays legal. The value is that most brands won't.

Product, where legal

Hemp, vinyl, coffee, water, food, film stock, paint. Forty nights need stocking, and in-kind counts as sponsorship.

A room or a route

Retailers, farms, venues and studios who will host a night, print the tract, or carry the clock in another city.

Distribution

Your list, your feed, your stores. Sponsors who share the campaign are worth more to us than sponsors who only pay.

Honesty about limits

Tell us up front what your legal and compliance team will not allow, and we will design your placement around it instead of arguing later.

Who this fits
  • · Hemp and cannabinoid brands who need the rules clarified, not erased
  • · Smoke shops, dispensaries and farmacies in NC, TN, SC and GA
  • · Papers, glass, grinders, gear — the accessories economy
  • · Music, vinyl, apparel and venue brands with a stake in Asheville
  • · Anyone who has ever been told their product is immoral before it was illegal
How it works

Four steps, no deck.

01
Fill out the form

Tell us the brand, the tier you're curious about, and anything you can bring that isn't cash.

02
One call

Thirty minutes. We show you the board schedule, the nightly program and the film plan. You tell us what compliance will allow.

03
Artwork + terms

A one-page agreement, your logo files, and the exact boards and nights you land on. Nothing goes public until you approve your placement.

04
Go visible

Boards go up, your night gets programmed, and the documentary starts rolling.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

A 40-day cultural revival built around a real American legal deadline. Asheville is the mothership. The story belongs to the people living it.

21+ where required. Never drive impaired. THC can harm animals; keep products away from pets. Psychedelic programming is education and conversation only. Product experiences, smoking and events are subject to local law, permissions, age controls and responsible-hosting standards.
